The American Turkish Association of North Carolina - Charlotte (ATA-NC Charlotte) is proud to announce its 5th Charlotte Turkish Festival, scheduled on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 11 AM to 5 PM at the Extravaganza Depot located at 1610 North Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28206.

We invite all community members to take part in the celebration of the Turkish culture in Charlotte. The Turkish Festival in Charlotte is the single, largest event organized by the Turkish-American community; and we are expecting to host more than 1000 guests.

Our goal is to introduce the rich, vibrant Turkish culture to the North Carolinians in the greater Charlotte Region. This festival aims to build bridges of friendship between the Turkish and American communities through cultural understanding and appreciation. We believe that the growing community of Turkish-Americans significantly contribute to all aspects of life as well as the ethnic diversity of the Charlotte region. This festival will provide the opportunity for children and adults to learn about other cultures with the hopes to promote global peace. We are proud to celebrate our heritage and share it with the greater community.

Turkish Festival will feature music and cultural dance performances, delightful Turkish cuisine, gifts, crafts and textiles, interactive educational and cultural demonstrations, and children’s activities, which will provide guests with a first-hand experience to explore the Turkish culture and heritage.
