ATA Charlotte Turks will be hosting a Carwash on-the-go for the residents of River Run in Davidson, NC with the hope of raising money for the kids of Children’s Hope Alliance (an organization dedicated to helping children in transitional living). 

Fundraiser Details: Volunteers will be split into groups and will walk around the neighborhood, delivering car washes to residential doors! Although each car wash is free of charge, we will ask for donations to help support our cause. Rather than a traditional car wash with soap and water, our volunteers will be geared with an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative: carwash spray. Using microfiber cloths, volunteers will spend approx. 10-15 minutes wiping down each car and will continue to walk through their designated parts of the neighborhood. 

When: We expect that volunteers come at 10 am to help us prepare for the event. The event will end at 5 pm. Address: 13612 Robert Walker Dr, Davidson, NC, 28036

Spend a relaxing Saturday at Village Green, located at the heart of Davidson, while your kids are busy with face painting, eating cotton candy or dancing to the music. Turkish Delights team attended Walk a Mile with Safe Alliance at NoDa Brewing Company and won the team award who collected the most donations with 9,294usd.

As ATA-Charlotte Association, we hosted a family friendly event in McDowell Park to celebrate Ramadan holiday with 100+ people.. We would like to thank everyone who participated and contributed. Pictures of the event can be found here.

Our community welcomed  Ms. Feyza Barutçu-Altuğ, the  newly appointed Consul-General of the Republic of Turkey in Miami.  This gave us the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas over a delicious breakfast.
